Question by EdwardSAS: Is it doable to repair/restore an XP personal computer with a corrupt system32/method/config without an XP cd?
I can’t boot into Windows XP at all, I get as far as GRUB (I have Fedora 9 installed as properly) and then it makes a clicking noise for a although and then comes with the titled error. Is there any way to speedily restore the computer without the XP CD or Repair CD? Dell Symantec Restore does not work
Thanks so considerably

Sounds like your hard disk may have gone south if you are hearing clicking noises.
There is truly not significantly that can be done if it genuinely is a negative HD.
